IBM Expands Its Mobile Offerings With New Products

IBM Corp, the multinational American technology and consulting firm, has announced an epochal expansion of its MobileFirst application development suite, which will complement its new-age digital philosophy. IBM’s new MobileFirst portfolio will come with pre-configured mobile applications for some important industry verticals. The central idea is to enable companies to accelerate their mobile technologies initiatives, besides creating mobile apps from on-premise resources or a hosted cloud-based server in seamless fashion.

IBM’s MobileFirst app development suite has been trimmed to facilitate quick and highly effective mobile application design and development life cycle without compromising anywhere on their security standards. The newly introduced services are directed towards preventing data theft and other security vulnerabilities that could pose problems to the application users. All independent and dependent processes related with the mobile app development should proceed at the same rate, accuracy and simplicity, which consumers expect at an enterprise level.

Expressing his opinion in the official company press statement, Marie Wieck, General Manager (GM), MobileFirst at IBM Corp, was quoted as saying, “As mobile apps become a primary touchpoint with clients, the stakes run high to delight consumers. At the same time, the cost of a poorly designed app can significantly impact both the brand and bottom line. IBM’s mobile platform, apps and studios are designed to help businesses accelerate the adoption of a mobile strategy for business growth.”
